{"id":540,"date":"2012-03-17T21:03:09","date_gmt":"2012-03-18T04:03:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.stevenpugh.ca\/blog\/?p=540"},"modified":"2012-03-17T21:08:20","modified_gmt":"2012-03-18T04:08:20","slug":"double-fine-awesomeness","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stevenpugh.ca\/blog\/?p=540","title":{"rendered":"Double Fine Awesomeness!"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"width: 266px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Grim Fandango\" src=\"http:\/\/upload.wikimedia.org\/wikipedia\/en\/7\/76\/Grim_Fandango_artwork.jpg\" alt=\"Grim Fandango Box Cover\" width=\"256\" height=\"341\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Inspiration that brings your passion for games to life, or afterlife.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>I love Tim Schafer&#8217;s work.\u00a0 He&#8217;s so awesome.\u00a0 Who&#8217;s Tim Schafer you say?\u00a0 Why he&#8217;s the fantastic guy (along with his awesome art, programming, and other useful things Team) who brought Grim Fandango, Day of the Tentacle, and helped to bring in the Secret of Monkey Island.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 I am proud to say that I&#8217;m a kickstarter backer of his fabulous new game from Double Fine called Adventure!\u00a0 (probably a placeholder name) but it&#8217;s an Adventure! game &#8211; so why not?\u00a0 Yaharr!<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 260px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Day of the Tentacle\" src=\"http:\/\/upload.wikimedia.org\/wikipedia\/en\/thumb\/7\/79\/Day_of_the_Tentacle_artwork.jpg\/250px-Day_of_the_Tentacle_artwork.jpg\" alt=\"Day of the Tentacle\" width=\"250\" height=\"333\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">I'd give my right tentacle to work with Tim.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>He was looking to raise $400,000 but &#8211; no doubt because he is so awesome and gave us such stellar adventure games that we&#8217;ve been craving his games for the past umpteen billion years!
